Now this looks quite interesting! AviSynth in ffdshow (even though there still is some work to be done). . Way to go milan! If you need any assistance, you know where to ask :)

If fully implemented I think it would mean that you could use any Avisynth filters when playing in Zoom Player or whatever. Nifty! ;) - Tom

Seems like it will be possible to invoke AviSynth filters (installed and internal) from ffdshow. We should perhaps support this, and make an interface for inserting caches, or add them on Invoke.

Yes - I actually only saw the bottom part - VERY interesting! Don't know if sound passes through ffdshow as it is now, but considering milans ability to work wonders - who knows :)

Dude invoking FFDShow as an input plugin would kick ***. No more damn DirectShowSource stuff when I want to pre-process input files. Do we have any idea when this will be implemented? How can we help? Mmm I can see it now, FFDSource("blah.avi")... makes me all warm and fuzzy.

ffvfw codec already has this (ffdshow as pre-filter) so he's just "expanding the business" so to speak.... that's nice....
