Hey peeps, This sounds like a pretty newbie problem, but when i attempted to import a itunes wav file this evening, PT dosen't reconise the file type and wont let me import the file. It was originally MP4, i then converted it to wav trying to overcome the prolem as i thought PT LE may not support MP4's, but it is supported as other MP4's are being reconised. I have imported stuff from itunes before, so why would this be occuring with this particular file?? Any help would be great!! Thanks, Hands.

not sure if this helps.... I've never been able to import mp4's in to PT. If the file was purchased from iTunes store (mp4), I always burn it to a disk, reimport to iTunes as an mp3 and then import to PT (if you have the paid mp3 option in PT) Although I've never tried importing the .wav from the burned CD,I would think that would also work (?) good luck

there's a quicker way: change the import preferences in iTunes to mp3, then convert the desired tracks to mp3 (you will then have an AAC version and an mp3 version in iTunes).

If it's an iTunes music purchase then you can't import it into anything, even if you could you would only get white noise because of the copyright protection. The best method i have found over the years is Rogue amoeba Audio Hijack. You can convert any audio thats playing through built in audio in to most file formats on the fly without the need to burn and it's only $20-30. Cheers
