Delay on input for guitar track

I am getting about a 1/2 second delay on a audio track I have my guitar going into in reaper. I play the note and it plays late. It did not have any delay last night and it does not delay in my other programs. I must have some option that I need to switch? Buffer is set at 512 in reaper and other programs as well and changing the buffer size does not do anything.

Fixed under audio device settings switched from wave out to ASIO in audio system and ASIO Hammerfall dsp in asio driver. any recommended settings?
