I posted this on the MIDI site, but felt I might get some great results hear as it's a common tool. I guess at some point one's brain refuses to compute and all else shuts down. So here I sit. I'm running verison-7 on a winxp digi002r and a command 8. I have used audio stereo tracks with a midi track to run sampletank2 with no problems. I have also used mono audio tracks for bass and keyboards with no problems. Now that I want to us an AUX track I see the fader bars activated but no sound. When I try and use an instrument track for sampletank2 as a midi instrument all looks well but still no sound. I have several books and videos and seems I have followed them to the tee but can't hear anything not even with headphones. It but be a simple input/output connection but my brain is dead trying to see the leight. Please help.. Thank you....

To what do you have the audio input on the aux/instrument track set? Some instruments require there to be a valid audio input set to function properly. Is the fader up? To what do you have the audio output of the aux/instrument track set? Are you in Low Latency Mode?

I have the input set to sampletank channel 1 and the output set to output 1. This is the same way I set it up when I use the audio track/ midi track and it works fine. It's when I try and us a AUX track or the NEW and IMPROVED instrument track and set it up the same way I have this problem. The fader is all the way up I can hear the moniors humming so I know there ready to except a signal.

First, thank you for the image and your time! I set it up the same way as shown and of course the fader bars show activity, but no sounds. I can't see why the instrument track won't work when all the signals are comng through, but no sound to the headphones of monitors. What am I missing here?

Glad you got it working. Sounds like you had an I/O Setup problem, which would have been my next suggestion. You should delete the duplicate post over in the MIDI section though before someone answers.
