Pro Tools LE newbie questions

Hello! Can I use an audio card or even the internal audio hardware with Pro Tools LE, or it only works with the Audiomedia III? Is a Blue G3 350MHz with 512MB RAM and 7200 Ultra-ATA HD good for a 16 or maybe 24 tracks? Very thanks!

I'm not sure, but I think you MUST use digi hardware to work with their software Does it answer your question?!

PT LE will only work with digidesign hardware (AMIII or digi001 etc.) You can run Pro Tools Free, without any hardware, but you will be limited to I believe 8 tracks. I use basically the same setup as you in my home, and I am able to run 24 track sessions just fine (with VERY limited number of plug-ins mind you). My setup is G3/350, 640MB, 30GB ATA dedicated audio drive. Good luck!
