This must be a bug...right?

I have a session where I'm in the process of making close to 100 regions. Whenever I make a selection and hit "Ctrl + R" to make the region, the cursor and view jump back to an earlier time in the project. So every time I make a region I must find my place again. Has anyone else experienced this?

Specifically...I'm into 80-something regions at this point, and every time I make a new one, it jumps back to region #50.

You may want to consider summarizing your problem in the "Title"...it may attract more responses...and also, for future reference searches...:)

What version are you using, and what OS? Mine certainly doesn't do this, but you may have different configuration settings related to time selections/loop points/edit cursor etc. Also, by default shift+R is create region, so do you have a custom action you're using?

I mistakenly typed "Ctrl +R"....meant to say "Shift + R" I am using the latest (4.32), 32bit, Windows 7. I'm gonna dig into some settings I might have changed in the past to see if maybe there's something up in there. However, it seems strange that it kept going back to Region #50, as if there was something special about that one.

Yeah, pretty strange, I just tested again with a default install ( (4.32), 32bit, Windows 7) up to about 60 regions and didn't see anything like that happening.
