How Do I Replace The Headliner 

[B]please can anyone tell me is it easy to replace my headliner on my 240 gl OR can i repair the 4 damaged areas where a dog cage has been. they are about 4 inches by about 3 inches so it is shame to replace all of it as the rest is very good. any help or advice please thanks. thanks.[/B]

Hi, Try to resist the urge to type/format your text large and bold. We're not blind you know! Have a look at the 700/900 FAQ as that has info on head liner replacing for those models, but some of that info will be useful for your car.. .... Des. . . ;)

Hi. Replaced the lining on my 740 estate in about three hours. I bought beige roof lining and adhesive from Woolies - They have a choice of materials as they provide materials for vehicle restoration. Take care with the fibre backing material and carefully repair any damage you should then end up with a good result. Mine looks like new. If you follow the instructions from the link in Des's post you should do a job to be proud of. Stephen.
