Why would you want to use the 888 with LE software if you have acquired a TDM system? -Robert

that wasn't my question...and if you need to know. it was mostly becase i was curious. the 888 has aes/ebu and all xlr's. the digi does not. also, we have two macs, so one is still "le". just curious. you can find 882 interfaces pretty cheap. so i was going to buy one and double my studio rates by telling people i have tdm "yes, mr. customer, its perfectly normal for a tdm system to handle only one bomb factory plug-in. " you can buy a tdm system piece by piece, which is what poor people have to do. the first piece weve acquired is the 888. the mix card is in the mail...we'd like to config the studio now, but still have the opp. to load a session if need be. i hope i've given you enough information for you to write me back with the correct answer since you seem to know.
