FL into Reaper

Let me start off and apologize for the newbie question, I'm new to the digital domain, I brought FL and learned to sequence in it, it wasn't much differentthan my decade old synth. I just got Reaper and I'm trying to bring a sequence into Reaper from FL. There are 10 inst in the sequence. When I insert a track with fx (FL), and try to make another track, it seems to get stuck. How can I get my 10 instr into Reaper? is rewire the best way? is there a way that I can just dump the sequence into it and record? I'm confused, sorry. Thank you for your help.

Use FL as rewire slave.(Reaper fx list/rewire folder) Patch it ==no more than once== per Reaper project. From the track (in Reaper) where FL is patched, you may route FL outs to new Reaper tracks.

You can also try loading it as a VSTI if you have a version of FL that allows that.
