MDW=glass (in a good way) I like it on the mix bus if needed and where I need to be surgical. Oxford=vibey, less pristine more crunchy (again in a good way). I like them both. my 2 cents. drew

I have FB and don't really like them-I know others swear by them. They just have this grainy 16 bit sound sound to me - I have know idea why.

To me, Oxford has a somewhat harsh sound next to the MDW. Use whatever suits your material. As far as the user interface goes, the Logic channel EQ with its built-in spectrum analyzer overlay puts both the Oxford and MDW to shame (and also sounds great). Lee Blaske

I'm more of a musician/performer and I do not have 'golden ears' but I think the MDW is superior to the Filterbank. I've only briefly used the Oxford EQ and cannot comment on sound quality but I prefer the simplicity of the Massenburg. Maybe that's because I'm simple and my perception will change with experience.
