me too, my drums and the whole feel since using Maschine has been amazing. Ive always arranged on the grid and ended up with stale beats in comparison. do u use Maschine as a VST in REAPER though? or writing outside and importing stems?

I use it as a vsti sending midi to kontakt kits in reaper because midi mode is less responsive, and standalone to get new ideas. If I have an arrangement in stand alone and want to work it further in reaper, I typically use midi items with keyswitching but playing from a keyboard or maschine in midi mode triggering scenes works. Also... people may miss a huge, huge benefit of maschine as a vst: sequencing plugin automation! By far the coolest setup ever. You can also resample single or mixed tracks and rearrange on the fly. Or, instead you can use ReaRoute or Jack and send to maschine for resampling live.
