96 IO and 192 IO test

Did anyone tested the 96 and 192 IO at 48khz.? Big difference? advice ? Im planning to go the HD route but work only at 48KHZ (for now)

I wonder what level of clock you have to move up to before you get a distinguishable improvement over the Sync/192 clock?

Great question Aux. I'm about to start venturing into that test as well. I'll share findings when I have some info. Also, I always need to keep reminding myself, good music will speak through whatever mic, converter, DAW, tape, etc. and will move people. i have a friend who does professional mastering that i consult with regularly. he just switched from the 192 as his master clock to an Apogee PSX-100SE. he seems very happy with the change, though he bought the unit primarily for his analog insert chain. that being said, i would look at the Apogee Big Ben if you want a stand-alone master clock. lance
