Hi, guys, I have next setup: Dell Inspiron 7567 laptop, Dell D3100 docking station and LG Flatron e2360 monitor. And I have two problems with it. The first one is flickering. I've read topic but solutions from it didn't help me, because I don't have DisplayPort and I can't use Active adaptor. Instead I use short Hdmi cable and it works as I said... with flickering. The second problem is related to video cards installed on my laptop. The laptop is equipped with Intel HD Graphics 630 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. And the problem is that Display link doesn't use NVIDIA card to display the picture on the second monitor. So, if I run game or movie on second monitor it's displayed using only Intel card. How to solve that problem? :)

Hello Dmitry, For the second, please use the Windows 10 Feedback Hub and request that Microsoft does NOT use the integrated GPU but the best GPU for indirect displays. This is an operating system feature since Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Microsoft understandably indicated that, unless their customers show interest in this, they will not prioritise the development work necessary. Today, Windows 10 will use the graphics card used for boot. The workaround is to disable the Intel graphics card, but most laptops don't allow this. To know if your particular machine allows this, you would need to ask your laptop vendor how. It would need to be in the BIOS. Once the computer has booted, it is far too late to disable the low end graphics card. Kind regards, Alban

Thank you for raising this Dmitry, My Windows Insiders account claims I don't have access to the idea. Would you have the title you posted so I can search for it? Kind regards, Alban

Alright, I think I might have found why it's not visible on my work machine. Which version of Windows 10 are you using? - Windows 10 Anniversary = v1607 - Windows 10 Creators = v1703 - Windows 10 Fall Creators = v1709 It looks like you can only see suggestions applying to your OS version as I've tried to create one on 1703 and the number is attached to my suggestion. We need to get it on v1709 as this is the current version. I'll check from my home machine. Kind regards, Alban

It's been three months since my first message but the issue isn't solved. So just want to remind that I've created a request on the Windows 10 Feedback Hub. So please have a pleasure to click on the link and upvote the request. :)

Hello, Microsoft has two releases a year currently, one in spring, one in fall. So, the strict minimum time you can get a new feature is 6 months, provided they have agreed and started to work on it. From what I could see, they haven't scheduled this for the next release. New features for that release were closed months ago. This means the earlier we can hope is fall 2018, still... provided they have agreed after enough people voted on the feedback. Kind regards, Alban
