GKnot and div X5.02

hai, i'm not sure where to post that thread, i suppose i can try here :) well, i am a journeyman gknot user, i recently upgrade it to 0.26 to use the divX 5.02 and i got some troubles.. 1) i had the fast deinterlaced trouble i resolved with 0.26.1 2) as far as i tried i have always the same trouble with any rip i made..:confused: whatever i choose fast, field, none...bicubic, or not....always got a bad picture quality the exact prob is dark are not dark but a sample of green , drak brown..or something around... i always have some strange halos on the picture... i never had this prob with divx 4.12...and made lot of divx with gknot that way without any such prob... so what's wrong ? i post an example from lord of ring ! Pl help me

well ...some explanations 

1)i use divx 5.02 not the divx 5 pro 2) i let gmc when i launched the encoding job.i will try tonight without it... 3) does the preview tool after the comp test really helps in having a good idea of the final avi file quality ?

same result without gmc in normal bicubic ! 

i wanted it to be in 3cd argh !!!i never had troubles like this with 4.12 !!! will someone answer ?:(

Hi- Are you using 16 bit color on the desk top? If using 16 bit or 24 bit, you might try and switch to 32 bit and see if the appearance improves.
