After making my aac audio, which OagMachine saves as .mp4 audio files, MPC keeps trying to use 3ivx codec(which I uninstalled) instead of CoreAac. When I make a Matroska file, MPC uses CoreAac. Any way to change the association?
@Tuning but he wants to play audio AAC(inside MP4). In this case he needs the 3ivX Splitter. @sumpm1 did you enabled "Allow unsupported Decoders" in the 3ivX Splitter configurationn (properties)? ;) If not, enable it. Otherwise the 3ivX Splitter will only try to connect to the 3ivX Decoder. Cu filewalker
Thanks for correcting me again! In filters section of MPC there was no filters found, So I thought there wasn't any. So mistake again. Yes I have installed nero 6.3.

I was unaware that 3ivx was a splitter. I thought it was just a decoder. I installed it before CoreAAC. It resulted in very high CPU usage when reading mp4 audio?????? After I installed CoreAAC, 3ivx was still used for mp4 audio alone, but video files with mp4 in them used the CoreAAC filter, low CPU.
