Reaper has always been unstable on the Mac, but after the 3.141 update it's crashing so often it's at the point of being unusable. The crashes ALWAYS occur when I'm moving the main timeline bar around (i.e. pointing to different places in the timeline) while the song is playing. This is the current project I'm working on: 24 audio channels 2 FX send channels Native Instrument's Kontakt 3 w/ Steven Slate Drums LE (AUi) Plugins: MDA Dynamics (AU) ReaGate (VST) ReaEQ (VST) (on a lot of the channels) ReaDelay (VST) ReaFir (VST) ReaComp (VST) ReaTune (VST) Studio Devil's British Valve Custom (VST) KR-Reverb FS (VST) CPU usage peaks at 72% (FX usage peaks at 52%), RAM usage is at 685MB. My MacBook Pro: Mac OS X 10.5.8 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM External FW drive What the hell is going on? Everything else is stable on my Mac.
