ProTools quits while importing audio

I've done this dozens of times with no problems, but now I open a session and go to 'file', scroll down to 'import audio'.. and wham.. Protools quits. anybody know what may be happening? thanks, tim

Hi, Try trashing the files called Digidesign Databases on the root of all of your mounted volumes and then use the first aid feature in the Apple disk ustility to repair disk permissions on your system drive. Thanks, Digidesign Tech Support
