Using another DAW inside Reaper

Is there a way to do this? Is this what re-wire is? I am using Orion for all the included synths and drum machines and would like to be able to do this inside of Reaper instead of having to do all the work in Orion, render to a stereo file and then importing that into Reaper and not have the mixing abilities of the Orion file.

You could probably do this using ReaRoute if not Rewire.

Yeah, use ReWire for Orion, then your transport is synced too.. There's an easy way to render ReWired tracks also if you want a macro: select the track and area to render, then: insert empty item apply track fx to items toggle fx bypass for selected track
