Hi All, I am dusting off my old recording gear after a multi-year hiatus. I am having a little trouble getting the POD Farm plug-in to work the way I used to recall it working. I think part of my trouble is the latest version of Reaper is a lot different than the version I used to use...and my memory sucks! I'm on a PC and using a Line6 UX2. I've got POD Farm working, but Reaper is only recording the processed output. I seem to recall in the past that Reaper recorded the dry guitar signal and that the processed signal was either not recorded directly or that it was only heard via monitor? Not sure if that makes sense. TL/DR, how do I get reaper to record the dry/unprocessed signal when using POD Farm plugin? Thank you!
You have to record the direct signal and set the PodFarm as a plugin effect. You sound like you are recording the effected output directly into a reaper track. Easiest way to play catch-up is to download the user guide and also check out Kenny's FREE videos from the front page here. Should get you back up to speed in no time. Welcome back!
plug the guitar into the pod and then set the track you want to record to to record and the record monitor button (the triangle) to auto. If you connect the actual pod to reaper via the USB connector this will get signal into reaper and also let you hear what you are playing both in and out of record. Then click on the FX button in your reaper track and add the pod farm as an effect. Job done. And dont forget to read the effing manual and watch the effing videos! :D

OK back to basics. Are you showing ANY signal activity in the track you set for recording if you remove the Pod plugin from the track? It sounds like you are recording the Audio OUTS of the Pod into reaper rather than the signal from the USB.
Forgot he was on a UX2! I even owned a UX1 at one time, but mostly recorded via my Pod. I will be interested to see what exactly you ARE doing, OP.... (grin) in any case, it is WRONG! But I am pretty sure Lucas has figured out what is going on....

Strato: The "he lied" comment was made by a non-native english speaker, so probably not intended to come over the way it did! And if you check my last post you will see where you should be finding those drop down menus! Good luck!!
Calm down. I'm not calling you names. I'm playing with language. How would you prefer that I express the idea that you deliberately gave us false information? :) I really didn't mean any offense. I'll try to use more mojis in future. ;)
Lol. Ok kids. Just trying to help. If you can't get anything useful out of my replies because of one word... well I really am sorry. Please ignore what rdbois offered. He might have "special circumstance" that require such weirdness, but it really is not best practice.
