Re: Dot Matrix Clock

You can increase scan resolution and then downscale point matrix with a rule - if at least one subpoint is ON then point is ON. In this case tuning resolution multiplier will ensure visibility of elements of any thickness.

Re: Dot Matrix Clock

You can scan with a higher resolution, say 2x, and then downscale it with the rule that point is black only if 2 or 3 subpoints (from 4) hit a letter. Or multiply resolution to 3x and validate point only if at least 5 subpoints out of 9 hit the letter. Tuning this hit factor can give nice results, I...

Re: Dot Matrix Clock

Nice "billboard" Richard. Working with dot matrix characters is a great mental exercise. Especially when you start with photos of dot matrix patterns found on the web and have to translate them into data. How about the following little program: Pick a character from a selected font and put it with ...

I have created a text version of this document which is much smaller and can be searched. This was OCR'd from the original and correction applied. Please let me know of any errors you find.

Mr Kibernetik,

Many thanks for the speedy response!

Do you know if there are plans to get it working, or is this not a fixable problem?

Many thanks
Paul.
Currently there are no ways to fix it.

Re: Screen size- Running in App versus Basic

Thank you for your comments.

SDK is practically the same application as smart BASIC itself, but without editor and file manager.
I don't know why SDK application screen size differs from screen size in smart BASIC.

Re: App build with Smart Basic and Swift?

I have no exact answer, but I can comment: Although you can use Xcode project with smart BASIC in any way you like (add or remove something in Xcode project if you have good experience in Xcode programming), but there is no interaction between smart BASIC program and any stuff you add to Xcode proje...
