:B_rant: Agggghh some scumbag has stoved in my rear door in the company car park. Sure it's been windy and someone's obviously not takeen this into account, but not to report it, how do they sleep at night. It's a right pigging mess, must have been a helluva wallop. We have about 20 CCTV camara's and not one was pointing in the direction of where I was parked! pigging typical. So how should I word my company wide E-mail to try and see if the guilty party will come forward! Vipes

I had a ding in the back door of a previous car at work and noticed it at lunchtime. Put a note on the daily sheet at work which everyone gets for info and updates. Next morning I found out from another member of staff who had witnessed it. I had to confront him about it and he ended up admiting it and paid for the damage. Jim

To the person who (accidentally or otherwise) dented my car door, I will be studying the many hours of cctv from the many cameras positioned around the company premises and when I find out who the culprit is I can assure him/her that I will be pursuing him/her for the full cost of any repairs required to return my vehicle to its former unmarked state. Furthermore if the afore mentioned culprit does not come forward voluntarily I will also pursue him/her for the total cost of the hire vehicle which I will require while my vehicle is off the road. If on the other hand he/she wishes to come forward and own up to said damage of my vehicle I may see my way clear to waive some of the afore mentioned costs in recognition of his/her honesty. yours yada yada yada you never know ...sometimes a good bluff can pay dividends

Just an afterthought, do you know roughly the time period when the damage occurred? You could then monitor vehicles within that time period on the cctv footage entering/leaving the car park.

Hi, There is going to be damage to the car that did this. Might be worth looking at car bumpers on Monday to find either very clean ones or damaged ones. Clean if they have recently been tidied up and cleaned or the scrapes and cuts from damaging your car. Luck in finding the ar$e that did this... Des. . . ;)

It's door damage that's caused it - and I agree I should think the door that did the damage will be visible. There's about 400 cars to go through though - but reduced as It's white/silverish. It's just so damn annoying. We all work hard for what we have, it's not given to us on a plate. I'm damn proud of my S60, it's a purchase I've made after hard graft, just like a holiday/ or the big screen TV or whatever, we make efforts to protect our property and then people do this without a second thought. grrrr...sooo annoyed!!!

Have you considered using one of these mobile dent/scratch removal outfits, their prices are supposed to be quite reasonable.
