Hey There Try using the cache mode-it only loads the samples that are needed.that greatly reduces the ram amount.(oh yes and play through the midi clips to load the samples) And also the 16 bit model also reduces the ram amount. Both of the buttons are placet where the ram meter is on the SD2 GUI. Regards J
In x86 I always had to use 16 bit and get under the hood and take off some mic bleeds. Also, I was a bit lucky as I like the work with really small kits, so I'd ditch off the extra cymbals and toms.....that helped allot.
-have you tried switching Superior Drummer to 16bit mode? (its in the lower left of the Superior Drummer window) -how much RAM do you have in your computer?
Build smaller drum kits, with regards to velocity layers (or whatever, can't remember the terminology, as I'm at work). I have (in SD2) a 7-piece kit with a TON of cymbals, all 24-bit, that sounds fantastic, and only uses a little over 700 MB.
hummm, i am stumped. Toontrack support has been helpful to me in the past. Reaper is a supported host, they should help you out. I am sorry i can't be of more help.
