Dali Lama, What's this filter for? Where did you find it? kaitsuburi, I'm trnaslating some sites from Japanese to English to put them on AviSynth.org. Will you check my translations for accuracy?
@all, Great news! If you could translate these sites, they have a lot of info. Also, later on, it would be nice to translate the aviutl plugins, some are very unique and good. Here are some sites I am looking at: (this one is the best, all filters and sites linked to here) (this one has some nice technical info on how to use some of these filters) PM me if any of you guys have questions. I think there may be other Japanese/English speakers who could help out. Good Luck, Dali

Hi, kaitsuburi, that's a good start, please take your time. Fred, that's funny you mention those German sites, I was also interested in the information people like mb1 and other German native speakers have to share. I will try to change the title of this thread to something more appropriate. Take Care, Dali
The two SVCD pages of the first one looked like they might have good info. The second one has nice use of images to illustrate some basic concepts. It's not all duplicated information. Doom9 doesn't have an in-depth discussion showing YUV/RGB. At least, I can't find one in the guides. My interest is because of the grphics to illustrate the topics.

hmmm...ok... well if you could illustrate which pages you would want a littler closer, i might consider doing it if there's a decent form of hosting etc. i just don't want to invest a lot of time jsut to find out that it's hosted where nobody can find it and actually nobodies reading it anyway because it's either outdated or not necessary anyway ;) steVe
Those 3 pages are the ones that I thought might be helpful. Cna't read German, though, so don't know about the SVCD ones for sure. There isn't a YUV/RGB guide here on doom9.
