EASY Way to Create Envelope from Plugin GUI?

Wish there was an option to just drag a parameter(ie MIX knob on a delay plugin) on the TCP and voila its created. OR right click on parameter create envelope etc. What are you kids doing these days?

Action : show track envelope for last touched FX parameter

That's a menu item in the fx window too I believe

ummm tried setting the env. to latch mode? then just move stuff on the vst gui and you get env. lanes for it

This is how I do it:

oh right Priest... yep... gotta enable that option... but it works so nicely and then one can manually edit away or at least reduce the number of points in the env. to something reasonable.
