I was wondering if I could somehow get rid of the Note Number, Names and Piano Keys in the MIDI Editor. I can't find a way, but Im a Newb so go ahead and be cruel, it's OK. In the Arrange Window I can drag the Arrange Area left and cover the TCP and Main Toolbar. I can even expose just a little of it using Grey Matter, RADO 4, or Matsuri's Theme ( pictured below ). But I cannot find a way to create extra spave in the MIDI Editor. If there isn;t a way, consider this a humble request as some of us don;t need the note names, and surely don;t need theme on display in the window and the left at the same time. Thanks So Much,..
To quote myself from Evan's link: "If we could slide the piano roll graphics left/right like we can the TCP section in the Arrange view, this would be excellent. I mean completely slide it to the left (again, like the Arrange.) The same idea would work great for the MIDI Editor Timeline & Toolbar lanes. "
Actually I couldn't live without it but I wouldn't mind if it was adjustable like mike suggests.:) I think the problem though, is that it has velocity sensitivity so I'm not sure how that would work out.
Depending on your screen's ratio aspect, the piano keys can use up to 1/6th of the view.
