Audio Glitches

I always have the Mac's sound port at low level on a seperate input on my mixer. I only turn it up If i really need to.

thanks Chompers, but do you know of a way to stop this problem ?? i don't remember hearing it all the time and think it's only just started doing it ! has anyone had the same problem and found the cure ?

Try firmware first. That fixed a problem I was dealing with on a Powerbook. here's a shortcut to their download section
