Yesterday I installed Reaper on my G4 and i must say i'm impressed. I'm looking for an alternative to pro tools and i think i found it! But my Liquid mix is not working like it is supposed to. The VST and AU show up in the list and work but the AU is not delay compensated and the VST shows a blank window but works (from the hardware controller). It doesn't bother me that much to not see the plugin, but i cant change the name of the channel i'm working on on the hardware controller and that makes it impossible. So my questions: Is there a sollution to the blank VST problem? OR can i somehow compensate the AU delay? Thanks alot in advance, if i get this to work i think i'll stick with Reaper and finally ditch Pro Tools!
I have a few vst's that show up blank too for some reason. what i found is that the gui is actually there it's just BEHIND the blank reaper fx window. i can see it when i resize the blank window smaller. worth a shot.

Thanks for the advice. I tried resizing but the plugin is not there. It would be nice to get it to work, but i can live with the AU + Timeadjuster. I tried it out in the Beta of Reaper 3 and the older version and its the same in both.
The AU doesn't save settings and makes the liquidmix crash on opening a session with active AU. Useless... But i got the VST to work. If you have the same problem go to the focusrite site and download "Liquid Mix 2.3.16 (VST2.4 Plugins for Intel Mac) ", even if you are on a PPC. Do not install the package but CTRL+Click on the installer. Chose "show package content" and look for "Archive.pax.gz". Copy it to your desktop and open it. In the new folder there are mono and stereo plugin's needed to fix the blank screen problem. Change the name so they will not replace the original VST plugins and copy the to /library/audio/plugins/VST. Start Reaper and rescan the plugin library and the renamed one's should appear in your list. I hope it will continue to work.
Hi all, I did what I found on the forum to make the VST plugin visible but it doesn't work, I mean, it works but the plugin remains invisible. Any other suggestions what I could have done wrong or what I've forgotten? I use reaper v3.2 OSX rev 10687 and LIQUID manager v2.3.16 Thanks in advance, Guy -> OK, I found out I downloaded the wrong file on the focusrite site. It works now! Great, I'm so happy!
