Hi everyone. Suddenly a few buttons on the radio/phone unit in my XC90 have gone dark and I am planning on replacing the bulbs that have gone out. Has anyone here changed the bulbs in the buttons on the radio/phone unit? I am fairly sure of how to remove the unit but what I worry about is what will happen if I remove the unit from the panel and disconnect the wiring. Does a Volvo dealer have to set up the unit again with some kind of software or is there just a simple keycode to enter? Best regards, Siggi Iceland

Bulbs are the little tiny ones with built in bulbholders - twist i and out - DO NOT have the key in the ign, and DO NOT turn the ign on whilst the unit is disconnected - it WILL illuminate your airbag light.... There is no code entry needed on the ICU, it is programmed to the vehicle. Mike
