I suspect the lack of response means that you will be on your own with that mobo. As it seems its not that old, the worst case is that you have to swap the mobo and spend another $115 or so which isn't bad. Go to the MIS website to see what chipset is on that mobo and cross-check on the compatibility page. The overheating could be as simple as the cpu cooler not being mounted right or a wire fell off. Then again, it could be more complicated but I doubt it. If the cooler lookes like a cheap one, buy a Zalmann and some Arctic5 (heat transfer paste), remove the old cooler, clean off the top of any previous paste, apply the new stuff and try it.
