Hi I am a new user by hours, I have used Logic 9 for several years but now I'd like to move to Reaper. Due to Logic 9 not importing xml it only imports xml from Final Track? Anyway my question is how can you set a split point in the grand staff in Reaper? Is it possible?

Sorry, it's not currently possible. If you are showing any paired staves the default split point will be the pitch midpoint of the two staves (middle C for grand staff). But, you can manually force notes onto either staff via the "staff" actions (in the note context menu or action list, you could assign this to a keyboard shortcut or toolbar button if desired).

You can't define an automatic split point, but there is an action to put any note on either staff. In this screencap I put the action on the toolbar. You could also set the bass clef to -15vb (2 octaves down) which makes the split point around D2.

Not sure I'm getting it but I have downloaded your gif so I can watch it frame by frame and maybe grasp what it is you are doing. I'm sorry to be so ignorant. But I am trying to understand only ignorant not stupid.
