video with PTLE & Digi001

Has anyone had any success integrating video with PTLE on win98? I have a client who may want me to clean up some audio in a training video he shot on DV. Please send any comments or suggestions (and step-by-step instructions). Thanks. -Matt

I'm using Adobe Premier 6.0 and what I create in Protools I dump to premier then output to DV or mpeg etc. You just need to capture the sound from the source 12bit/16bit and use a program to capture the video then use protools to clean up and then mix back to dv recorder. I hope this helps. Your question is a little vague.

Pako, I use the built in Sound Card on my motherboard to monitor Premier and other programs like acid, sound forge, etc. I only use the digi for protools.

That's what I used to do until I ran out of PCI slots and had to give up the Sound Card. Guess it's time to upgrade to a new computer. Not such a bad problem to have, except for the whole money thing.

I recently pulled my Creative sound card to make room for my Firewire card for my GL1 connection and was expecting to be able to monitor the audio channels in Premerie though my Studio Monitor's attached to the 001, but find that the latency and system load was too great. The sound is delayed and my frame rates for playback are less than desired. My system isn't much less than yours. I'm running with a: -PIII 600 -384 Mb Ram -Win 98SE Thank you In advance.
