What is meant is this: when a memory requirement is listed (i.e. "128 MB minimum 192 MB recommended"), you must have at least this much physical RAM in your system. Virtual memory can not be considered toward the requirement. Perhaps "not supported" is a poor choice of words. Pro Tools LE is fully compatible with the presence of virtual memory on your system, it just doesn't benefit from it. I notice in the new compat doc for 001 on WIN98 that virtual memory is not supported. What's the thinking behind this?
