un-specified subs

i was just wondering having been successful in backing up lotrtt(r2)i wanted to know where the gibberish subs went to(elvish i think?)you know the ones that arent a real language cos i cant select them and they dont come on automatically like in the original?

Are they caption subs ? 

Never ripped lotr1 or 2 and never thought 'bout it. I bought the movies (and BTW I was very diappointed 'bout quality of lotr2 pal:mad: )
