Don't 440's use garret turbo's, If its got a garret T2 on now then i would imagine you can go T25 or T3 or if your feeling really nuts how about a T34

Haha sorry, not sure what volvos you will find them on, but i know you'll find a T25 on a small turbo escort cossy, Don't know if there a straight swop or not and what engine will take before it goes pop as am not up on garret turbos
