Recirculation Inlet Location

Hi Guys Does anybody know where the air con pulls the air in from the cabin when you put it in recirculation mode? I've had a look around but I can't find an obvious place that it uses. The reason I'm asking is that I'm starting to get a mouldy smell when I start the car so I am assuming I need to kill of the bacteria in the air con. I'll be trying a combined smell neutraliser and anti-bacterial spray first and if that doesn't work I'll tip up for the Comma air-con bomb but it would be handy to know where the most effective place to put it is. :nerd2:when was the last time you had the heater on full heat,if you have just had the ac running on cool try turning the temp control to max heat and turn fans on to full and go for along run,got the tip from garage has workerd for me in the past.hope this helps ,also are both your filters clean and new??:) Mike V70 D5 53 plate geartronic

Despite the recent weather (!@*?!?@) I haven't for some time!!! I also just leave it set to around 20/21c on auto and let it get on with it. The beauty of climate :) I'm not sure about the filters but it is due for a service in approx. 1000 miles so I'll try the journey and replaced filters and see what that does. Dave
