EZDrummer problem

Hi! I just installed REAPER for the first time to try it our, and when I tried to load EZDrummer I got this error: If I load, for example, AmpliTube, it works. What should I do? Thank you!

You seem to have some sort of VST-to-DX wrapper installed? Or perhaps those plugins install their own DX wrappers. In either case, you should use the VST plugins directly in Reaper -- they should appear under the VSTi category. For context, DX and VST are two different plugin formats. In Reaper, VST is almost always preferable.

Yup... you have Cakes VST > DX wrapper installed. If you look under "VSTi" in the FX browser, you'll see toontrack listed there. THAT'S the one you wanna use... OR get rid of that crappy cake wrapper... EZD works wonderfully in Reaper. D

I need that wrapper for Sonar, I'm still deciding which DAW I want to use. I inserted the Toontrack from VSTi folder, as you said, and it seems that it works now. Thank you! :)
